CNA-Med Tech is a combination of two entry-level professions in nursing – a Certified Nursing Assistant and a Medication Technician.
They perform services such as:
- Basic patient care
- Vital signs monitoring
- Prepare, dispense and administer medication
- Record and report the effects of the medication
In most cases, CNA-Med Techs will work under the supervision of a registered nurse. They form part of the multi-disciplinary team at ABSOLUTE Health Care Services.
